Junior Section
- Seasons Awards
A Junior section was started way back in the mid 1960's.
Sid Flood, Jim Howell, Norman Young, Paul Weise, Brian Jenner, David
Neeves & Malcolm Smith were just a few of the past names who were involved in running it.
The section was officially 'taken under the wing' of The Linton Angling Society in 1996. Since then it has grown from strength to strength, it is now some 68 members strong (2006-07 season)
After the tragic loss of Andrew Tate in 2005 all junior events have been suspender until a suitable member is found to take over & carry on the splendid work in running & organizing the junior section.
There are three categories within the section:
'A' - Juniors - aged 12 to 17 years old
'B' - Juniors - & from 17 up to their 20th birthday (reduced cost
membership)
'C' - Juniors under 12 years old - FREE - (Includes non members children)
