Christmas Competition

Date: 16th December 2001.
Venue: Staplehurst Reservoir
Conditions: Very Cold, dull with gentle breeze. (Due to the reservoir being filled from the River Beult the water temperature dropped, this had a dramatic effect on the catch results as shown below.

Despite the cold weather & lack of fish all of the 14 hardy competitors appeared to enjoy the day, At least everyone went home with a prize from the raffle afterwards. Congratulations to ex-chairman Brian Jenner for winning it this year with a massive catch of 5½ ozs!
